Jeanne Shaheen Statement in Observance of Memorial Day

(Manchester, NH) – Jeanne Shaheen released the following statement today in observance of Memorial Day:

 

"Today, we honor the courage and sacrifice of the men and women of our armed forces who have answered the ultimate call of service to their country.  Our history has been marked by the bravery of our soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines, and we are grateful for their strength, their dedication and their valor.  Our thoughts are with our servicemen and women serving far from home today and their families.  They represent the very best of America."
