New Site Features Increased Multimedia Capability and Allows New Hampshire Voters to More Easily Connect with Campaign, Fellow Supporters

(Manchester, NH) —The Jeanne Shaheen for Senate campaign today launched an extensively redesigned JeanneShaheen.org.  The new site allows New Hampshire voters increased opportunities to get involved with the campaign and features expanded multimedia and social networking capabilities.  The site also features information about Jeanne Shaheen, her record of accomplishment as Governor and her positions on important issues.

The new JeanneShaheen.org features:

*Community building tools.  The new site allows New Hampshire voters to get involved in the campaign and join constituency groups they belong to.   

*Personal fundraising pages.  Supporters can set a fundraising goal and invite their friends and family to get involved in the campaign and support Jeanne Shaheen for Senate.  

*Multimedia. The new JeanneShaheen.org is much faster and has much greater capacity for multimedia, such as web videos from YouTube or photo slideshows from Flickr.

*Polling. Using technology from Sodahead, JeanneShaheen.org allows visitors to vote in polls and voice their opinions about the issues they care about most.

*Social Networking. New Hampshire voters can more easily connect with the campaign on other web applications such as Facebook, MySpace, Sodahead and Twitter.  

*Volunteer organizing tools. The new site provides supporters with a much more streamlined process to sign up and volunteer with the campaign.

*Text message updates.  Supporters can sign up to receive text message updates from the campaign and get the latest campaign news and updates on their cell phones.
